The Heat Is Back . . . .

Once again, we have expected temperatures to reach near 90 degrees this afternoon. We didn’t have any rain yesterday, and none is expected until tomorrow. But that seems to be a given whenever the temperatures get this hot. Next week is supposed to be cooler, thank heavens.
Our 2:45 PM temperature is 85°F, the humidity is 52%, and skies are partly cloudy. Winds re from the SE but calm at this time. The pressure is 30.11 and rising. The dew point is 65°F and visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 81F and the overnight lo was 63°F. Record temps for August 14 was 97°F (1965) and 41°F (1964). Sunrise was at 6:42 AM and sunset will be at 8:40 PM.
