Yesterday was a wet, chilly day with scattered showers most of the day.  Temperatures didn’t rise to what was predicted, and we received almost half an inch of rain.  Now we are expecting cooler temps and most of us are happy about that.  The end of this month should be much cooler.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 66°F, the humidity is 85%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the SSE at 2-7 mph, and the pressure is 30.03 in and steady.  The dew point is 60°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 73°F and the overnight low was 63°F.  Average temps for this date are 80°F/58°F.  Record temps for August 19 are 96°F (2007) and 41°F (1998).  Sunrise was at 6:47 AM and sunset will be at 8:31 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Partial clearing in the afternoon with highs in the mid 70s.  Winds NNE at 10-15 mph, gusting higher at times.

Tonight:  Mostly clear.  Low near 60°F.  Winds NNE at 10-15 mph.

Thursday:  Mostly sunny.  Highs in the upper 70s.  Winds NE at 5-10 mph.
