The rain began late last night and continued until late this morning.  We received just under an inch.   Last night was the full moon, and temperatures were warm, so we sat out for about an hour.  We figured that we couldn’t waste such a beautiful evening.   This time of year, you can sit outdoors and not get carried away by mosquitoes.  The only trouble is that it’s usually too chilly to really enjoy it.  Last night was ideal.

Our 2 PM temperature is 55°F, the humidity is 89% and skies are overcast and the rain seems to be over.  Winds are from the NW at 0-5 mph and the pressure is 29.94 in and falling.  The dew point is 49°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 85°F and the overnight low was 55°F.  Average temps for this date are 63°F/44°F.  Record temps for Oct. 6 are 87°F (2007) and 28°F (2003).  Sunrise was at 7:41 AM and sunset will be at 7:08 PM.
