First Snowstorm Of The Season . . .

First Snowstorm Of The Season . . .

The snow began late afternoon, then gradually progressed as the night wore on.  We were expecting 6-9 inches but only got 4.  That’s a nice number and we can do without the rest.  Many places in the state got over a foot, and northern Michigan and the UP had blizzard conditions.  The snow has now ended.  I think we lucked out for the most part, no raging snowstorm or loss of power.  We have to go to Detroit on Dec. 13, so I’m praying for good roads that day.

Our 12:45 PM temperature is 32°F, the humidity is 87%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 6-12 mph and the pressure is 30.16 and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 32°F and the overnight low was 31°F.  Average temps for this date are 38°F/27°F.  Record temps for Nov. 29 are 65°F (2006) and 2°F (2007).  Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 5:04 PM.
