A Nice Early January Day . . . .

Today felt quite mild compared to the past few days.  Highs made it up to 30F and winds were light.  Yesterday brought scattered snow showers most of the day and we acquired another half inch of snow.  Our snow pack remains at about 3 inches, and we can look forward to a significant warmup by next weekend.

Our 4:45 PM temperature is 26°F, the humidity is 68%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the S at 0-4 mph, and the pressure is 30.01 in and steady.  The dew point is 16°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 28°F and the overnight low was 25°F.  Average temps for this date are 31°F/22°F.  Record temps for Jan. 3 are 50°F (2004) and -8°F (2014).  Sunrise was at 8:08 AM and sunset will be at 5:15 PM.

Tonight:  Intermittent snow showers.  Lows in the mid 20s.  Winds SSE at 10-15 mph.  Chance of snow 40%.

Monday:  Overcast skies with highs in the mid 3os.  Winds SW at 10-20 mph. decreasing after midnight.

Monday Night:  Cloudy with lows in the upper 20s.  Areas of fog.  Winds light and variable.
