It’s as if Mother Nature decided that now that summer is officially over, we should be getting fall weather. No more warm temperatures for us! Yesterday brought thunderstorms which lasted from 5 PM to near 10 PM. There was one after another with a lot of lightning, some striking very close to us. Heavy rainfall left 1.35″ in my gauge this morning. This morning, we had another line of storms develop, following the same path as last night, but they fell apart before reaching us. After a few very fall-like days, summer weather seems to be returning once again. Temps will reach the 80s by the weekend and early next week.
