My picture shows last night’s sunset through the smoke in the air. With the wind shift today, it shouldn’t be as noticeable. The northern lights are supposed to be visible tonight in most of the northern states. Hopefully, it will be clear enough to see them, and they don’t appear too late. That’s usually what happens, The national weather map is showing a mostly tranquil day with the exception of a small area in Texas. As for us, it Could…
Yesterday brought mostly cloudy skies and a few drops of rain. We should see quite a bit of sun today although temps will be below average again. We are expecting our first round of hot temperatures next week. We could even see 90F one day. As much as I hate hot weather, it will seem good after what we’ve had lately. I just hope that severe weather doesn’t come with it. Our 1 PM temperature is 59°F (15°C), the humidity…
Yesterday began wet and gloomy, but skies began to clear in the afternoon, and we ended the day with a little sun. This morning is pleasant with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Highs should reach well into the 70s and a few thunderstorms for this afternoon aren’t out of the question. It is quite windy, but with the warm temps, it should be a pleasant day. An air quality alert has just been issued due to wildfires up in…
We have cloudy skies this afternoon, following clear skies this morning. We are expecting showers later today and continuing into the overnight. Temperatures will once again be below average until Friday. Our 12:30 PM temperature is 63°F, the humidity is 64%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the ENE at 4-7 mph, and the pressure is 29.98 in and falling. The dew point is 49°F and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high as 75°F and the overnight low was…
I’m starting to wonder if we will have summer this year. Our temperatures are having a hard time making it to average. Next Monday is looking like it may make it to 80°F, but that’s still a long way off. As for today, conditions are pleasant. Our sky is a bit cloudy but with thin clouds, and not hindering the sun too much. But we do have more rain expected tonight, and most of this week, Our 12:45 PM temperature…
After cold and rainy weather the past week, Mother Nature has blessed us with a beautiful day for our holiday. Our high temperatures will even reach the average for a change. Our 10:30 AM temperature is 62°F (17°C), the humidity is 62%, and skies are clear. Wind are from the WNW at 2 -4 mph and the pressure is 30.26 in (1024.7 mb) and falling. The dew point is 47°F (8°C) and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 69°F …
Today should be good for any outdoor activities as long as hot weather isn’t needed. At least we should see plenty of sun and temps should make it into the mid 60s. I don’t think water sports would be too comfortable today, especially for those in northern Michigan. We have had a very cold May. Our 12 Noon temperature is 61°F, the humidity is 51%, and winds are from the NW at 4-9 mph. The pressure is 30.23 in and…
We can expect highs into the low 60s today. That’s a little better than yesterday, and there is no rain in the forecast. We did have a few sprinkles yesterday, but mostly, it was just cold. We can expect much better weather for the weekend and into next week. Our 11:45 AM temperature is 55°F, the humidity is 66%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the NW at 2-7 mph, and the pressure is 30.16 in and rising. The…
After a miserable, wet day Thursday, today is a little better. At least the drizzle has stopped but temperatures are still much below where they should be. The sun tried to come out a little bit but not much success yet. Highs today will only reach the mid 50s, which is about 15 degrees colder than what they should be. We’re still having to use the furnace in the morning. Anyone going up north this weekend will have pretty chilly…
Our rain continues today with no letup until the weekend. Along with it comes cold temperature. It feel more like late March than late May. At least it isn’t snowing. All in all, it’s just miserable weather and I hope that June is better. This has been one of the stormiest springs that I can ever remember. We have had more tornadoes than we usually get in an entire year. Anyone with outdoor plans for the weekend better take a…
