Yesterday was mostly wet with multiple showers and thunderstorms passing us by. We got one cloud burst in the afternoon, and then a thunder shower during the evening. Today began with clouds, fog, and rain. There is a low pressure center sitting over Lake Michigan producing this rainy weather, although we are still hanging on to much-above normal temperatures. It seems like a day in early September rather than October. We have received 0.28″ of rain since 8:30 yesterday morning and it looks like this will be the order of the day. Today is gloomy and damp with some light fog. Scattered showers are appearing on radar but we haven’t had any rain yet. If we do get some, I don’t think it will be much. This has been a dark and gloomy, wet day since the beginning. The rain has been intermittent but with the humidity and high dew point, the air feels very wet even when the rain isn’t falling.
