Another Chilly, Cloudy Day In Mid Michigan

Another Chilly, Cloudy Day In Mid Michigan

We received a little rain overnight leaving 0.05″ in my gauge.  It was wet and damp first thing this morning, but the rain had stopped early.  Since then, it has remained dry but temperatures are not rising very fast.  Highs today will only reach near 50°F and that’s about 3 degrees warmer than yesterday.  Since the nights are getting colder, I’ve noticed more color on the maple trees, at least on the leaves that are still left.  Many just dried up and fell off already.  It’s been a very strange October.  Almost every day this month has had temperatures much above average and we are expecting more of that next week.

Our 2 PM temperature is 51°F (11°C), the humidity is 66%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the W at 3-8 mph, and the pressure is 29.91 in (1012.9 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 40°F (4°C) and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 47°F (8°C) and the overnight low was 41°F (5°C).  Average temps for this date are 56F / 40F.  Sunrise was at 7:59 AM and sunset will be at 6:41 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:
