A Beautiful September Day in Mid Michigan
Now that Irma has become a tropical storm and no longer a threat to Florida, we can relax a bit,. All the people that I know are okay and not too much damage. That’s amazing consider the strength of this storm. Most of the folks I know live near and around the Tampa – Orlando areas and they were spared from a storm surge which was their biggest fear. Prayers do work!
As for us, we will see a warmup over the upcoming week and temperatures will be more seasonable. There are already quite a few trees with color, probably because of the cool weather this past week. It seems like it happens suddenly. I’m not looking forward to winter but autumn is my favorite season, especially if the nice weather extends into November.
Our 11:15 AM temp is 67°F (19°C), the humidity is 53%, and skies are clear. Winds are from the ESE at 3 mph, and the pressure is 30.34 in (1027.1 mb) and steady. There was a little fog this morning but now visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 69°F (21°C) and the overnight low was 39°F (4°C).
