Much Cooler Temperatures With the Rain Ending – Mid Michigan
Since last Wednesday, we received a total of 3.38″ of rain. I think that would put an end to the rain deficit. This morning is starting out with mostly cloudy skies but I can see clearing coming from the west. Yesterday only brought us an additions 0.19″ of rain but temperatures were dropping all day, so our high was early in the morning. Winds were the issue with gusts reaching 40 mph at times. I haven’t heard of any power outages so that’s a good thing. The sun is now shining and it appears that we will have a nice day although chilly.
Our 8:45 AM temp is 41°F (4°C), the humidity is 85%, and skies are partly cloudy with calm winds. The dew point is 37°F (2°C) and the pressure is 30.27 in (1024.8 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 69°F (21°C) and the overnight low was 40° (4°C). The record high for Oct. 15 is 87°F (30°C) set in 1947, and the record low is 25°F (-3°C) set in 1944. Averages for this date are 60°F / 40°C.
