Cooler But Dryer Weather For Mid Michigan

Now that the rain has ceased, we are dealing with much cooler temperatures but they are still  about 10° higher than average for this date.  Unfortunately, there is more rain ahead.  A flood warning is still in effect for all the rivers in our area until Saturday.  The extended forecast for March is indicating above average temps for the whole month, and I hope that we won’t be paying for it in April.

Our 9 AM temperature is 29°F (-1°C), the humidity is 92% and winds are from the ENE at 5 mph.  The pressure is 30.61 in (1036.3 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles and skies are cloudy.  The dew point is 25°F (-3°C).  Sunrise was at 7:23 AM and sunset will be at 6:16 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 47°F (8°C), and the overnight low was 29°F (-2°C).  Averages for this date are 30°F / 17°F.  The record high for Feb. 21 is 66°F set in 1930, and the record low is -9°F set in 1936.
