February Temperatures For Our Saturday in Mid Michigan
Although we have clear skies this morning, our temperatures still feel like late winter. We had a quick snow squall in the late afternoon Friday which created almost whiteout conditions; but thankfully it only lasted about 5 minutes without much accumulation. Any snow that fell melted right away. There was a very light cover of snow this morning and that was gone as soon as the sun came up. Our high today will be about 20° below the average. It’s about time that Mother Nature gave us some spring weather.
Our 9:45 AM temp is 27°F (-3°C), the humidity is 60% and skies are clear. Winds are from the west at 7 mph giving us a wind chill of 18°F (-8°C). The pressure is 30.07 in (1018.0 mb) and steady. We received 0.01″ of melted precip on Friday. Sunrise was at 7:09 AM and sunset will be at 8:09 PM. Yesterday’s high was 40°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 18°F (-8°C). Averages for this date are 52°F / 34°F. The record high for April 6 is 81°F set in 1921, and the record low is 5°F set in 1979.
