A Sunny Sunday But Still Very Chilly – Mid Michigan

Our Sunday is beginning with clear skies, light winds but very cool temperatures.  This is expected to continue until Wednesday when our high temp should finally be in the normal range.  At least with the sun, it doesn’t seem quite so cold.  The grass is greening up a little after the thundershower that we had earlier this week but still no sign of my spring flowers.  They just need a few warmer days before they stick their little heads out.   I don’t blame them.

Our 9 AM temp is 24°F (-4°C), the humidity is 68%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the WNW at 7 mph and the dew point is 15°F (-9°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 30.09 in (1018.7 mb) and steady.  Sunrise was at 7:06 AM and sunset will be at 8:10 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 17°F (-8°C).  Averages for this date are 53°F / 34°F.
