Continued Hot And Dry In Mid Michigan
We are looking at the possibility of rain this weekend but it’s only a chance. We really do need rain with all of this heat that we’ve been having. There isn’t any relief coming until at least next Wednesday. The AC has really been getting a workout this year. Our next trip to camp will be the first week of August and I’m hoping that temperatures moderate a bit by then. The normal high is only in the low 80s and those days have been sparse for sure.
Our 10 AM temp is 75°F (24°C), the humidity is 45% and the dew point is 52°F (11°C). That is very dry for Michigan this time of year. Winds are from the southeast at 6 mph and skies are clear. The pressure is 30.23 in and steady, and visibility is 10 miles. Sunrise was at 6:09 AM and sunset will be at 9:15 PM. Yesterday’s high was 83°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 54°F (13°C). Average temps for this date are 82°F / 59°F.
