Getting Very Dry In Mid Michigan With Only A Very Slight Chance Of Rain Ahead

There has been no rain here since June 28 and we see no chance of rain until next Monday.  We were hoping for our lawn to dry up a bit, but this is getting excessive.  I love the sunshine and warm temps and my tomatoes do too.  Gotta say that this weather is great for the gardens even though we must manually keep them watered.  Oh well, it is what it is and we’ll get by.  A few places have already issued red flag warnings but we haven’t reached that point yet here in Shiawassee County.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 83°F (28°C), the humidity is 31%, and winds are from the northeast at 7 mph.  The heat index is 80°F (27°C).  The pressure is 30.09 in and steady.  Skies are clear and visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 47°F (8°C).  Sunrise was at 6:06 AM and sunset will be at 9:16 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 91°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 69°C (21°C).  Averages for this date are 82°F / 59°C.
