Nasty, Winter Weather Returning To Mid Michigan

We have to let go of the fine, spring weather that we have had over the past several days, and get ready for some  rain / snow/ sleet / freezing rain which will begin tonight.  This is expected to continue into the weekend and we won’t see anything near 70°F for awhile.  That really isn’t unusual for early April in Michigan, and it’s still better than what last April was like.  At least, even if there is measurable snow this time of year, you know that it won’t last long.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 42°F (5°C), the humidity is 66%, and winds are from the north at 12 mph.  The pressure is 30.09 in (1019.0 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 29°F (-2°C) and skies are overcast.  Visibility is 10 miles.  The wind chill is 32°F (0°C).  Yesterday’s high was 63°F (17°C) and the overnight low was 36°F (2°C).  Averages for this date are 54°F / 35°F.
