A Rainy Morning In Mid Michigan
Temperatures remained constant through the night and highs today will be quite warm. This is in advance of another cold front which will affect our weekend. In fact, the upcoming week doesn’t look too good. The biggest issue will be the winds over the next few days. At least we aren’t getting the blizzard conditions that our neighbors to the west are getting. The two inches of snow that we received yesterday didn’t last long, and most had melted by noon. Radar is showing that our rain should be over by noon but winds will make it a not-so-pleasant day to be out in spite of the warm temps.
Our 9 AM temperature is 41°F (5°C), the humidity is 93%, and skies are overcast with light rain. The pressure is 29.69 in (1005.4 mb) and rising. Winds are from the south at 3 mph and the dew point is 39°F (4°C). Yesterday’s high was 47°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 40°F (4°C). Average temps for this date are 55°F / 35°F.
