Sunny And Cold This Morning – Mid Michigan

We had rain into yesterday morning, then it cleared by afternoon and there was plenty of sun.  Unfortunately, I can’t say that it was a nice day because the winds made it very unpleasant to be outdoors.  Temperatures were quite warm but the wind made it seem much colder than what it actually was.  We received just under quarter of an inch of rain total, and our grass has suddenly become very green from it.  Snow is in our forecast once again for the weekend, and my area could get 1-2 inches.  NOAA told us that our temps were supposed to be above normal for the month of April.  What happened?

Our 8:45 AM temp is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 54%, and winds are from the southwest at 14 mph, gusting to 17 mph.  The wind chill is 31°F (-1°C) and the dew point is 24°F (-4°C).  The pressure is 30.02 in (1016.6 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 61°F (16°C) and the overnight low was 38°F (4°C).  Averages for this date are 55°F / 36°F.  Sunrise was at 6:58 AM and sunset will be at 8:16 PM.
