A Sunny Day Expected In Mid Michigan
The past two days have brought flooding rains to the state, and we are finally going to get a couple of dry days. Our total rainfall since Thursday night was 1.84″. Many areas of the state received 2-3 inches. None of the fields in this area have been touched and many have ponds standing in them. This is a tragic growing season for the farmers to be sure. We keep hoping that the rains will end but it just keeps happening. It wouldn’t be so bad if they were normal showers, but each brings anywhere from half an inch to 1-2 inches.
