Finally, Some Normal June Weather in Mid Michigan

Finally, Some Normal June Weather in Mid Michigan

We waited a long time but it’s finally happening.  Summer has arrived!  Not only the summer solstice, but actual summer weather.  What’s even better is that the extended forecast is calling for highs in the 80s almost everyday.  Looking out my window this morning, it’s a beautiful day.  Yesterday was also very nice and this should continue through the weekend before our next chance of rain.  Thunderstorms are in the forecast almost everyday next week but that’s usually always the case when temps climb into the 80s.  They are usually hit and miss at that.  So here’s hoping for a drying out period.  We need it badly.

Our 9 AM temperature is 61°F (16°C), the humidity is 65%, and winds are from the east at 6 mph.  The pressure is 30.14 in (1020.7 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 49°F (9°C).  Yesterday’s high was 76°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 51°F (11°C).  Averages for this date are 80°F / 57°F.  The record high temp for this date is 98°F (37°C) and the record low is 44°F (7°C).  Sunrise was at 5:58 AM and sunset will be at 9:20 PM.
