The Threat Of Severe Thunderstorms Today In Mid Michigan
We have one storm passing to our north at this time. We had wind but no rain from it. The past two days have been very warm with highs in the upper 80s. Today is expected to be the same. The humidity was quite low Wednesday and Thursday which felt comfortable, but today will be a different story, and conditions will be right for severe weather to develop. This will be a “keep your eye to the sky” type day. I am now hearing rain on the skylight so it looks like that storm expanded a bit from what the radar is showing.
Our 9:45 AM temperature is 74°F (23°C), the humidity is 74%, and skies are overcast. The dew point is 67°F (19°C) and winds are from the west at 12 mph.
