Sunny And Warm in Mid Michigan

Yesterday was a perfect summer day, warm and breezy.  Some storms developed late in the day, and I received a weather alert from one of my weather apps, that a strong thunderstorm was approaching our area.  As I watched it on radar, most of it fell apart or diminished significantly before reaching us.  All we got was 0.02″ of rain and no thunder or lightning.  The humidity was quite low so that’s probably why.  Today is expected to be about the same.  I wish we could go a week with no rain so that our lawn would totally dry up.  There is a chance of thunderstorms everyday this week but very slight at that.

Our 9:30 AM temp is 73°F (23°C), the humidity is 65%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the west at 8 mph, and the pressure is 30.02 in (1016.6 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 61°F (16°C) and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 65°F (18°C).  Averages for this date are 81°F / 58°F.
