Snow Squall, Below Normal Temperatures In Mid Michigan

Today is one of the coldest that we have had yet this season.  Highs will only reach the mid 20s, and the wind chill will be much lower.  We had intermittent snow squalls all day yesterday which left an inch of snow cover by this morning.   These lake effect snow squalls are continuing but we are getting glimpses of the sun between them.  Right now, it is partly cloudy.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 23°F (-5°C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the west at 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph.  The wind chill is 9°F (-13°C).  Visibility is 7 miles.  The pressure is 30.26 in (1024.7 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 39°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 19°F (-7°C).  Averages for this date are 34°F / 24°F.  Sunrise was at 7:57 AM and sunset will be at 5:01 PM.
