First Real Winter Storm Of The Season – Mid Michigan

It began as rain in the afternoon, then changed to snow by early evening.  Just when we thought that we were spared from the freezing rain, it changed to freezing rain.  By nightfall, it was heavy to moderate snow again.  It was wet and heavy, and made for a beautiful snow-covered night with it clinging to everything.  Temperatures are not supposed to rise much above freezing this upcoming week, so I think it will be lasting for awhile.
