A Quiet Monday in Mid Michigan
Today is the first in a week that we haven’t had any snow. Everyday has brought flurries. The past two days had less than an inch and we have only about three inches of snow cover at this time. There is another weather system heading our way but haven’t heard much info on it yet. We are in a snow drought with precipitation levels much below normal. There are concerns among the farmers if this continues much longer.
Our 3:15 PM temperature is 29F (-2C), the humidity is 76%, and skies are cloudy with some filtered sun. Winds are from the NE at 4-11 mph. The pressure is 29.78 in (1008.5 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles and the dew point is 21F (-6C). The wind chill is 23F (-5C). Yesterday’s high was 30F (-1C) and the overnight low was 15F (-9C). Average temps for this date are 27F / 14F.
