A Snowy Sunday Afternoon – Mid Michigan

A Snowy Sunday Afternoon – Mid Michigan

The weather forecast called for about an inch of snow and I think we already have that.  This morning we only had about quarter of an inch and it’s been steadily snowing since then.  We are expecting another round of very cold air, so I don’t expect much melting to occur anytime soon.  We have about 4 inches of snow cover at this time.

Our 3 PM temperature is 29F (-2C), the humidity is 79%, and winds are from the NE at 5-12 mph.  Skies are overcast and we have light snow.  Visibility is 7 miles.  The pressure is 29.63 in (1003.4 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 23F (-5C) and the wind chill is 23F (-5C).  Yesterday’s high was 28F (-2C) and the overnight low was 24F (-4C).  Average temps for this date are 27F / 14F.  Sunrise was at 7:52 AM and sunset will be at 8:47 PM.
