Warmth Returning to Mid Michigan
After three days of below normal temperatures, we will finally see our temps back up where they should be. The past three nights have brought heavy frost to some areas and I haven’t heard anything about fruit damage yet. None of my plants seem to be affected but perennials are quite hardy anyway. The leaves continue to come out a little more every day and we’re seeing the forsythias and azaleas in full bloom. This is such a great time of the year.
Our 11:45 AM temp is 56°F (13°C), the humidity is 41% and winds are from the SW at 6-14 mph, gusting to 24 mph. Skies are partly cloudy and the dew point is 35°F (2°C). The pressure is 30.01 in (1016.3 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 50°F (10°C) and the overnight low was 31°F (-1°C). Average temps for this date are 59°F / 39°F. Sunrise was at 6:42 AM and sunset will be at 8:27 PM.
