A Sunny Sunday After a Wet, Stormy Saturday – Northern Michigan

Today is our last day here for this trip.  It rained most of Saturday but toward evening, the sky cleared and we even saw a little sun.  Temperatures never got as warm as what was predicted and we were happy about that.  Down state, however, there were many severe storms and even tornadoes.  Macomb and Oakland counties were hit the hardest although there was wind damage reported in other parts of the state also, not to mention more flooding.

Our 11 AM temperature is 73F (23C),  the humidity is 69%, and winds are from the W at 8 mph.  the pressure is 29.86 in (1010.8 mb) and visibility is 9 miles.  The dew point is 61F (16 C).  Yesterday’s high was 80F (27C) and the overnight low was 60F (16C).  Average temps for this date are 79F / 53F.  Sunrise was at 6:16 AM and sunset will be at 9:16 PM.

Tonight:  Clear skies.  Low 63F.  Winds SW at 5-10 mph.
