Very Warm And Windy In Mid Michigan
With all the snow that we have, we’ve been putting food out for the deer. They come about 4-5 times a day to see what’s out there for them. I enjoy watching them and the birds. Winter is always such a dead time of year, and seeing wildlife moving around livens it up a bit. I’ve been putting peanuts out almost everyday, and something is eating them, but I never see what it is. All I know is that all the peanuts are gone the next day.
Our Wednesday has been very warm with the temperature at 43°F this morning when I got up. A winter storm is expected late tonight and tomorrow, but total snow amounts are still quite vague. I’m hearing anywhere from 2-9 inches for my area. That’s quite a bit difference. In addition to possibly a lot of snow, winds could exceed 45 mph making for possible blizzard conditions. I was hoping that we would lose most of the snow cover that we currently have, but don’t think that’s going to happen.

Yesterday’s high was 28°F (-2°C) and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C). Average temps for this date are 30°F / 17°F. Sunrise was at 7:32 AM and sunset will be at 6:08 PM.
