Thunderstorms Bring Much Needed Rain – Mid Michigan
Thunderstorms moved into our area around 6PM last night leaving 0.29″ in my rain gauge. We were under a severe thunderstorm warning which was issued after most of the storm had passed. Way to go, NOAA! No matter, we didn’t get anything severe, just a nice storm with plenty of thunder and lightning. The Detroit area and others in southern Michigan got it much worse, and they are reporting power outages and trees down in various places. Radar is showing more rain knocking on our door and that’s fine with me. We’ll take all we can get.
