Rain On The Way . . . .

Rain On The Way . . . .

Radar is showing a large rain mass heading our way, and it is moving quite slowly.  I anticipate that it will be here in another hour or so, and that it will last most of our day.  Temperatures will continue to be mild today, then another cold front moves in and will last through the weekend.  Once again, like the past few weeks,  highs will reach into the 60s by mid week.  I’m hearing that temperatures will continue to be above average all through March, so maybe we won’t have winter this year.  It’s been a very strange weather for Michigan.

Our 12:15 PM temperature is 47°F (8°C),  the humidity is 82%, and winds are from the east at 3-6 mph.  The pressure is 29.96 in (1014.6 mb) and falling, and the dew point is 39°F (4°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 54°F (13°C) and the overnight low was 35°F (2°C).  Average temps for this date are 40°F / 23°F.  The record high for March 7 is  74°F (2000), and the record low is  -13°F (1999).  Sunrise was at 7:01 AM and sunset will be at 6:35 PM.
