Just Can’t Beat This October Weather . . . .

Just Can’t Beat This October Weather . . . .

Just This has been one of the nicest Octobers that I can remember.  We have plenty of sun, minimal rainy days, and comfortable temperatures.  It is perfect weather for getting last minute outdoor work done.  LaNina is keeping the weather gurus busy trying to anticipate who it will affect the most.  So far, I’ve heard of a lot of snow for us, or very little.  I guess we’ll know when winter gets here. Our 3:15 PM temperature is 68°F, the…

Cooler Weather Has Arrived . . . . .

Cooler Weather Has Arrived . . . . .

I don’t think that our first frost is too far off.   Overnight temperatures are getting pretty chilly and I think that having a window open overnight is coming to an end.  The sky always seems so blue in October when we are fortunate enough to have a clear day.  This upcoming week is expected to give us exactly that.  There was a quick shower early this morning which left 0.06″ in my gauge. Our 11 AM temperature is 61°F, the…

Becoming Sunny After An All Day Rain . . . . .

Becoming Sunny After An All Day Rain . . . . .

Yesterday was one the the wettest days that we’ve had in a long time.  We received 1.23″ of rain total, now the ground is like a sponge again.  Apparently this is what was left of Hurricane Polo.  The Atlantic hasn’t had one hurricane this season which is almost unheard of, but the Pacific is making up for it. Our 11:45 AM temperature is 60°F, the humidity is 72% and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the WNW at 6-7…
