Finally, Some Sun in Mid Michigan

Finally, Some Sun in Mid Michigan

This morning is bright for a change, with the promise of becoming a beautiful, sunny day.  Since it is my birthday, I really appreciate it.  Temperatures are expected to be about average for this date with light winds.  I may just get out for a long walk before my kids show up this afternoon.  I don’t think that we will have many more days like this, and I’m just happy that the rain is over for now.  It’s almost time to put my bird feeder out as the birds seem to be looking for food , and have been hanging around my suet cake already.  Amazingly enough, many of the trees are still hanging onto their leaves.  Usually they are all bare by now.

Our 9:30 AM temp is 40.6°F (5°C), the humidity is 94%, and skies are partly cloudy.    Winds are from the NW at 7 mph, giving us a wind chill of 39°F (4°C).  The pressure is 30.25 in and rising and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 52°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 39°F (4°C).  Averages for this date are 53°F / 35°F. The record high for Nov. 2 is 77°F (25°C) set in 1938, and the record low is 19°F (-7°C) set in 1905.
