Back In Mid Michigan Once Again
I thought that today was supposed to be cooler but it is still very warm and sticky. Showers and thunderstorms are popping up on radar and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw some rain by day’s end. The current radar is showing many little cells starting to develop to our south west, and they are moving in our direction. The prediction is for our high tomorrow to only be in the 60s and for me, that will be a welcome change.
Our drive home was dry although it was misting when we left the campground, but it didn’t last very long. By the time we got half way home, the sun was shining and everything was dry. I could see big thunderheads off in the distance and now it is starting to cloud up here. The Detroit area and Flint received some heavy rain yesterday, but not a drop here. Many storms develop over us, then move east and hit Flint and the east side of the state. I think that’s what happened yesterday.
Our 4 PM temperature is 82°F (28°C), the humidity is 60% and the dew point is 66°F (18°C). Winds are from the east southeast at 7 mph, and the pressure is 29.96 in (1014.3 mb) and falling. Skies are mostly cloudy. The heat index is 83°F (28°C). Yesterday’s high was 84°F and the overnight low was 58°F.
