A Sunny, Warm Sunday in Mid Michigan August 20, 2017
Today was a wonderful day with temps in the mid 80s but low humidity. I haven’t been feeling well so didn’t do much. In fact, I was suppose to work today but didn’t go in. That doesn’t happen very often. The long-awaited eclipse is tomorrow but I will be working when it happens. I’ll try to get a chance to get outdoors to get a glimpse. I don’t really care to look at the sun, but I find the amount of darkness to be more interesting. We will have about 80% coverage here in Michigan.
Our 5 PM temperature is 84°F (28°C) , the humidity is 45%, and skies are mostly sunny with a light cloud cover. Winds are from the south southwest at 5 mph, and the pressure is 30.04 in (1017.0 mb). Visibility is 10 miles. The dew point is 56°F (13°C). Yesterday’s high was 76°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 60°F (16°F).
