Welcome Relief From The Heat – Mid Michigan
Temperatures in the 90s are just too hot for my liking and I’m happy to see the cooler weather. Highs today will only reach the mid 60s and that’s lovely as far as I’m concerned. I usually have my garden in by now but haven’t even started it yet. I’ve had some physical issues plus working a lot of hours at the hospital, and I just haven’t been up to it. These 90°F temps haven’t helped any either. I’m hoping to get it done this upcoming week.
Our 8:45 AM temp is 52°F (11°C), the humidity is 79%, and skies are cloudy. The dew point is 47°F (8°C) and winds are from the NE at 7 mph. The pressure is 30.03 in (1016.6 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. Sunrise was at 5:59 AM and sunset will be at 9:09 PM. Yesterday’s high was 83°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C). The record high for June 1 is 102°F (39°C) set in 1934, and the record low is 34°F (1°C) set in 1966. Averages for this date are 73°C (23°C) / 52°F (11°C).
