A Cold But Sunny Tuesday in Mid Michigan
Although we had a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning, the clouds have cleared away and the sun is out. It seems like we hardly see it anymore. Unfortunately, it isn’t warming it up much. Our high today will only reach the freezing mark but the sun has melted most of the new snow. We continue to have very minimal snow cover at this time. It would probably average out to half an inch. Most of it is in shady places. We are expecting a warm up by weeks end but with that will come more rain. Highs should finally be around average.
Our 1:30 PM temperature is 31°F (-1°C), the humidity is 57%, and skies are partly cloudy. The dew point is 18°F (-8°C), and winds are from the west at 13 mph, gusting to 16 mph. Our wind chill is 21°F (-6°C). The pressure is 30.13 in (1020.3 mb) and falling. Yesterday’s high was 39°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C). Averages for this date are 44°F / 31°F. The record high for Nov,. 20 is 69°F (20°C) set in 1953, and the record low was 12°F (-11°C) set in 1986. Sunrise this morning was at 7:34 AM and sunset tonight will be at 5:09 PM.
