More Clouds, Snow Flurries For Our Friday – Mid Michigan

We had sun almost all day on Thursday which was a welcome sight.  Today, we are back with clouds and light snow once again.  We are still not hearing much about this impending winter storms.  Right now, it looks like we will get 1-3 inches from the first one, but the second, and strongest storm may stay just to our south.  It does look like the Detroit area and southern Michigan will feel the brunt of that one.  Yesterday made it up to 40F and we lost quite a bit of snow, but our total snow coverage remains about 70%.  We are expecting much colder temps to arrive with these winter storms, and it looks like January will be going out with normal January weather.

Our 10 AM temperature is 22F (-6C), the humidity is 78%, and skies are cloudy.  The pressure is 30.10 in (1019.3 mb) and rising.  Winds are from the NW at 4-16 mph, gusting to 21 mph.  The dew point is 15F (-9C) and the wind chill is 13F (-11C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 40F (4C), and the overnight low was 22F (-6C).  Average temps for this date are 27F / 14F.  Sunrise was at 8AM and sunset will be at 5:35 PM.
