A Blustery, Cold Day In Mid Michigan

Yesterday was very windy which made it hard to get an accurate snow measurement this morning.  I’m guessing that we got about 0.2″ of new snow but we have snow drifts that are about a foot deep, while other areas are bare.  Today continues to be very windy with the sun peeking in and out of the clouds.  It sure doesn’t do much to warm it up, however.  We have about 4-5 inches of snow cover at this time and snow showers may continue through the day.  Accumulations are expected to be less than an inch if any.

Our 12:45 PM temperature is 21°F (-6°C), the humidity is 66%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 7-22 mph and the dew point is 9°F (-31°C).  The pressure is 30.13 in (1020.3 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 28°F (-2°C) and the overnight low was 9°F (-13°C).  Average temps for this date are 29°F / 17°F.
