We had intermittent rain showers on Saturday which left us with about quarter of an inch of rain. Although today is mostly cloudy, the forecast is only calling for a slight chance of rain. Yesterday evening, we had some moderate to heavy rain with a little thunder. It left a little over 1/3 of an inch in my gauge, and watered down the dust from the road nicely. We received 0.36″ of precip yesterday and overnight, and snow showers have continued throughout our early afternoon. This should be the order of the day. Our summer-like weather is coming to an end with an approaching cold front. We certainly enjoyed our weather this past week, especially the few 80 degree days that we had. Yesterday was a record breaker once again for high temperatures. Today will be warm but not enough to exceed the current record of 87°F (30C).
