The sun is expected to show up sometime today, but no sign of it yet. We didn’t get any rain yesterday as it all remained well to our south. This upcoming week is supposed to be warmer and dry. We’ll see how that works out. Right now, temps are pretty chilly and highs aren’t expected to make it out of the 60s today. Our 10:30 AM temp is 57°F (14°C), the humidity is 87%, and skies are overcast. Winds are…
Today was supposed to be the rainy day of our weekend, but now it is a bit doubtful whether we will see any rain. The radar is clear except for rain around the Chicago area, and that seems to be stationary at this time. Our morning was cloudy, but now we are seeing breaks in the clouds and rain chances are less than what was predicted yesterday. That’s okay. The mosquitoes have enough moisture to sustain them for…
We saw the sun for a short time this morning, but that has come to an end. At least, temperatures will be closer to where they should be today. Rain is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow along with some thunder. A warmup is supposed to happen over the next few weeks. I hope it does. I love warm autumn weather. Our 2:15 PM temperature is 71°F (22°C), the humidity is 58%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from…
We have plenty of sun today and temperatures should make it into the low 70s. No rain is in the forecast, so it will be a great day to get outdoors and do anything. We should see a warmup by the end of next week, and the extended forecast is calling for above normal temperatures for the month’s end. I love it. This is my favorite time of year. Our 1:15 PM temperature is 69°F (21°C), the humidity is 54%,…
Temperatures fell into the 40s overnight and that was one of our coldest nights so far this season. There is a very heavy dew this morning but we are expecting clearing as the day goes on. In fact, I’m seeing the sun trying to make an appearance through the fog. Temps should be on the rise and closer to where they should be on this date. We are expecting some pretty nice weather over the next few days. Our 9:30…
Yesterday brought us a mix of sun and clouds with a few sprinkles mixed in. I don’t think we will have any sprinkles today, but temps are a bit colder and the sun will be intermittent. Our high will remain below average but we should see a little warmup by the weekend and into next week. At least, that’s what the forecast is saying right now. Our 11:15 AM temperature is 59°F (15°C), the humidity is 77%, and skies are…
Our skies have been mostly to partly cloudy today, and occasionally, there were a few sprinkles. The clouds have been beautiful and plentiful, but most had no rain. Today has been on the cool side with highs only in the upper 60s, but it’s been comfortable with a sweatshirt. No significant rainfall is expected for us and temperatures will drop into the 40s tonight. Our 5:30 PM temperature is 67°F (19°C), the humidity is 77% with partly cloudy skies. The…
After two dry days, we have another rainy day on tap for us. I wouldn’t mind it except that the mosquitoes have been terrible lately, and we have had to mow the lawn about every four days. With the heavy dew that we get this time of year, it takes forever for the grass to dry. At least the forecast isn’t calling for rain this entire week like it was originally. That’s a good thing! Our 11:30 AM temperature is…
Today should be decent with temps reaching the low to mid 70s, and quite a bit of sun. We should enjoy today because next week will be wet and much cooler. The reality of autumn will really be setting in. I don’t think that our warm weather will be gone totally, but we’ll see less and less of it as the month rolls on. Our 1:30 PM temperature is 68°F, the humidity is 68%, and skies are partly to mostly…
Yesterday began with fog and drizzle. This morning, we have fog but no rain. There was only 0.01″ in my rain gauge, and local forecasters promised that we would see some sun today. Temperatures are supposed to make it up to the low 70s, so it is expected to be a nice day. Our 9:15 AM temperature is 57°F (14°C), the humidity is 97%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the north at 0-2 mph, and the dew point…
