Dense Fog For Our Thursday Morning – Mid Michigan

Temperatures fell into the 40s overnight and that was one of our coldest nights so far this season.  There is a very heavy dew this morning but we are expecting clearing as the day goes on.  In fact, I’m seeing the sun trying to make an appearance through the fog.  Temps should be on the rise and closer to where they should be on this date.  We are expecting some pretty nice weather over the next few days.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 50°F (10°C), the humidity is 98% and we have dense fog.  Winds are 0-2  mph from the north, and the dew point is 48°F (9°C).  The pressure is 30.12 in (1020.0 mb) and rising, and visibility is less than 1 mile  Yesterday’s high was 62°F (17°C) and the overnight low was 41°F (5°C).  Average temps for this date are 74°F/51°F.  Sunrise was at 7:16 AM and sunset will be at 7:51 PM.

Today:  Dense fog this morning, with a mix of clouds and sun for the afternoon.  High near 68°F (20°C).  Winds light and variable.

Tonight:  Clear skies.  Low near 48°F (9°C).  Winds light and variable.

Friday:  Sunny.  High near 72°F (22°C).  Winds SW at 5-10 mph.
