Today is absolutely lovely with plenty of sun and very light breezes. This doesn’t happen very often. After another very chilly night, our temperatures will not be rebounding much today. Highs will only reach near 40 degrees, and there is some wintry weather expected tonight. We aren’t expecting much in accumulations, but it could be a mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow by the time it is finished. After three very windy days, today is much calmer. Although not as warm, it is definitely more pleasant to be outdoors. We have had sun all morning but now there are clouds moving in. After two days of ridiculously strong winds, today will be more normal for most of us. Although the winds will still be quite strong, they won’t be nearly as bad as they were on Wednesday and Thursday. Yesterday was very windy, and it is even more so today. The temperatures are wonderful but who can enjoy it with wind gusts up to 40 mph? After a lovely, warm day on Wednesday, today brought us back to reality, that spring isn’t here quite yet. I’m hearing that we could reach 60F sometime next week and I’m not sure if that makes me happy. Two years ago, he had abnormally warm weather in March and with it came tornadoes.
