A Beautiful St Paddy’s Day In Mid Michigan

Today is absolutely lovely with plenty of sun and very light breezes.  This doesn’t happen very often.  Unfortunately, it won’t last long with more clouds and rain/snow expected for tonight and tomorrow.  At least we have today and God is smiling on the Irish.  We have a fairly new Irish Pub here in the village of Vernon, about 4 miles from my house, and we’re going there for dinner tonight.  I hope it isn’t too packed.

Our 2 PM temperature is 50°F (10°C), the humidity is 58%, and skies a mostly clear.  Winds are from the east at 3-7 mph, and the dew point is 34°F (1°C).  The pressure is 29.74 in (1007.1 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was only 43°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 24°F (-4°C).  Averages for this date are 43°F / 27°F.  Sunrise was at 7:45 AM and sunset will be at 7:44 PM.
