Today will begin a significant warm-up with highs near 40° and overnight lows above freezing. Unfortunately, it also means rain; But we have filtered sunshine right now and moderate temps, so we can enjoy this while it lasts. Yesterday was a miserable day in Michigan as well as other states to our south. We had wind gusts up to 60 mph in places and significant snowfall in some areas. We only received about an inch of new snow, but Otsego county in northern lower Michigan received about 7 inches of new snow. All the roads there are closed this morning including portions of I-75.
