A Touch Of Winter Returned On Thursday – Mid Michigan

We had a cold east wind blowing all day Thursday and a mix of rain and sleet fell late Thursday night.  Some reported freezing rain but I didn’t see any evidence of that here.  I could hear sleet hitting my windows for a short time, but then it turned back to all rain.  There was 0.07″ in my gauge this morning and radar is showing most of the mess to be past us now.  It should be a fairly decent day weather-wise for us.

Our 8:45 AM temp is 33.4°F (1°C), the humidity is 90%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the east at 6 mph and the wind chill is 30°F (-1°C).  The pressure is 30.15 in and falling.  Visibility is 7 miles and the dew point is 32°F (0°F).  Yesterday’s high was 46°F (8°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Sunrise was at 7:12 AM and sunset will be at 8:07 PM.  Average temps for this date are 51°F / 33°F.
