Today will be the coldest day that we have for awhile with highs not even reaching the freezing mark. At least we aren’t expecting any weather which will cause slippery driving conditions. The extended forecast is calling for more normal temperatures over the next week. Yesterday felt like a day in January and there won’t be much improvement today. Our 8:45 AM temperature is 20°F (-7°C), the humidity is 58% and skies are cloudy. Winds are from the east at…
Although we had a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning, the clouds have cleared away and the sun is out. It seems like we hardly see it anymore. Unfortunately, it isn’t warming it up much. Our high today will only reach the freezing mark but the sun has melted most of the new snow. We continue to have very minimal snow cover at this time. It would probably average out to half an inch. Most of it…
Our forecast is calling for some clearing later today and highs in the upper 30s. We received a few snow flurries yesterday but not enough to really matter. This should be a fairly nice day to get outdoors and do something. There is a slight chance of snow this morning but I don’t think that it’s going to happen. The radar is showing it sitting just to our south and I hope it stays there. Our 8:45 AM temperature is…
There hasn’t been much change in our weather over the past few days. Temperatures continue to be below average and precipitation is falling as snow. There isn’t much of it and most is slowly melting. We have only less than an inch left and we could see more light accumulation this afternoon. The roads are good, that’s the main thing. The ground is still too warm to support a lasting snow cover. Right now (12 noon), our temperature is 36°F…
We received about 2.5 inches of snow overnight and everything is covered in heavy, wet snow. I have to admit, it’s beautiful. We still have flurries happening although we’re aren’t expecting much more in terms of accumulations. Our temperatures will continue to remain much below average for the next week, and I’m hoping for a substantial warm-up sometime soon. Our 9 AM temp is 30°F (-1°C), the humidity is 90%, and skies are cloudy with light snow. The pressure is…
Unfortunately, a warm-up isn’t expected to happen anytime soon. We will continue with highs only in the 30s over the upcoming week. Rifle deer season opened today here in Michigan and the deer hunters should be happy with the temperatures. Yesterday was quite nice with clear skies all day and almost no wind. We were finally able to get the rest of the outdoor furniture put away and I’m glad that it’s done. As for today, there is more snow…
It really feels like December right now and I’m upset that we totally lost our autumn weather this year. We went from September to November, and Mother Nature totally skipped October. Usually the weather balances out eventually, and I’m hoping that it will happen in December. It would be nice to have snow for Christmas, then warm the remainder of the month. I know! I’m not being realistic. Our 9:30 AM temperature is 26°F (-3°C), the humidity is 69% and…
I just read yesterday that El Nina is strengthening, and that a milder winter will probably happen for us here in the north. If so, I wish it would happen soon. The temperatures that we have been having are much too cold for this time of year. We received an inch of snow overnight, so this morning seem bright. The sun has been peaking out occasionally, and that’s a welcome sight. I hope we see much more of it today….
With our normal temperature for this date in the upper 40s, we aren’t seeing anything close to that, and no real warmups are in the forecast anytime soon. At least we should see a little more sun over this upcoming week and that will help. I keep thinking that this can’t last but it is and has been. Where is this mild weather that NOAA predicted for us? Maybe it will come in December when we want the snow for…
We have another cloudy day but it seems brighter than what it has been. Highs today will remain in the 30s and we could see a little sun later on. My husband is in the hospital with vertigo and other problems, so I haven’t been paying much attention to the weather. He should be able to come home today, so I’m hoping for dry roads. There isn’t any rain in the forecast but that doesn’t always mean much this time…
