Yesterday was just too hot to even step outdoors with highs reaching 93°F. Fortunately, thunderstorms will be passing through later today and bringing cooler air with it. On the down side, there is a chance for severe weather to develop. This morning is breezy and mostly cloudy. Walking outside is like going into a sauna. While my area is baking in 90° temperatures, heavy storms have wreaked havoc in Michigan’s Copper Country. My daughter lived in Houghton for three years and I’m so happy that she isn’t there now. Today won’t be as comfortable as yesterday with higher humidity and temperatures. Monday was absolutely gorgeous with highs in the upper 70s, light winds, and very low humidity. This morning is starting out with a lot of sun and breezy conditions after a wet weekend. Our highs should also be closer to normal than what we have had recently.
