Clusters of thunderstorms formed over most of the state all day yesterday, dumping large amounts of water in very short times. We were fortunate that they waited until we got home. Our first storm happened about 6 PM when we received 0.35″ in 15 minutes. After that, we got occasional sprinkles but nothing heavy. We had a few thundershowers pass just south of our location overnight getting everything wet. We didn’t expect it and it appeared at bedtime that most would stay to our south, but we got a surprise.
